As of now, the following applies to:

NOTICE: According to Article V of our Chapter By-Laws all members who were unexcused from today’s chapter meeting HAVE LOST ALL VOTING AND INTRAMURAL PRIVILEGES until you attend three consecutive chapter meetings.  You have also lost the privilege of attending the next SOCIAL FUNCTION, regardless of when it is.  Contact Brother Klein AND Brother Hellwig to complete two (2) house hours to compensate for your loss of privileges.  

 

 

 

Officer Reports:

 

V.P. of Loss Prevention (Brother Hellwig):    

  • People  need to clean pots and pans

-          You are going to check them out with Aaron

  • Couches were used outside, now they are destroyed.
  • Study is not a place to party, that is what the basement is for

 

                                                                                                     

V.P. of Public Relations (Brother Polevoi):   

  • Greek Idol , no one has signed up to do it
  • Wheel chair basketball at the Rec in April 17th
  • Jordan Liles is our contestant for Mr. Greek
  • Tuesday at 830 for Alumni Weekend Committee
  • Buying a brick to help build a new playground in the Square

 

 

V.P. of Scholarship (Brother Kulisek): .

  • Good a lot people are getting mentors and tutors
  • Early Warnings come out during Spring Break
  • If you are on early warnings list

 

V.P. of Recruitment (Brother Stroh):

V.P. of Correspondence (Brother Egan):     

  • Sober Drivers for

-          Friday: Doug Connor, Mike Mendoza

-          Saturday: Kyle McKim, Greg Pappas

  • I am sorry for sending something wrong on the listserv
  • I still need a lot of people to send me names for the roster
  • We need to treat sober drivers with respect, they are privilege and be treated as such

 

 

V.P. of Finance (Brother Annable):   

  • Pay your bills

 

V.P. of Membership Education (Brother Rosal):    

  • Educational with Delta Zetas, Sex Ed at the Sandburg Theater March 25th  5:30 to 6:30 P.M.
  • Educational Sam Spadey  in Grand Ballroom 7:00 PM, wear letters, leaving at the house at 6:00 P.M..
  • Hand back the survey
  • IFC: No Report
  • Pledge Events:
  1. Educational 7 at the house Monday the 8th
  2. Wednesday March 25th dodgeball/kickball at the rec
  3. Exchange will be with Delta Zeta
  4. Fundraiser will be Date-a DU
  • Intramural Championship between Delta Sigma Phi Tomorrow

 

President (Brother Klien):  

  • Kiss Me I’m Irish Party went well
  • Hope everybody met the alumni
  • Housing Contracts are due,  sign up
  • Brother Liles is potentially the new SGA President
  • Spring Break is coming up, so be smart

  • 37% of the chapter not here in Chapter, we want them to be here

  • Remember to vote for SGA elections
  • Don’t drive recklessly

 

 

Dr. Cody:       

 

 

  • Old Business:  
  • We our updating our by-laws.
  • We are planning on adding a new Executive Board member
  • That position will be Alumni Relations Vice President

  • Motion to make Pledge Events mandatory with a 15 $ fine

  • Motion to make Sam Spadey Educational mandatory and sober with a 15$ fine

  • Motion to make the Intramural Basketball a Brotherhood Event 50$ fine

Awards:

Clean Duck :  Andy Armstrong for cleaning the basement

Athletic Duck:  Alex Kulisek setting a course record  in Normal, Illinois

Smart Duck:   Doug Connor for getting an A in his Marketing Test

Dumb Duck:  Doug Connor for forgetting his chapter

Duck of the Week: Matt Egan and Othello Rosal for losing weight

 

Good of the Fraternity:    

  • Mr. Greek application is due Tomorrow
  • Brandon Stroh softball team 50/50 raffle for his softball team

  • St. Baldrics is the Monday after Spring Break
